Lee & Steve Conquer the Barcelona Marathon for Merle’s Wish
We are incredibly proud to share that two amazing supporters of Merle’s Wish, Lee and Steve, have completed the iconic Barcelona Marathon – and all in support of our cause.
After months of intense training, countless miles, and even working through a few injuries along the way, Lee and Steve laced up their running shoes with one goal in mind: to make a difference. And they did just that.
The marathon was no easy feat. The course tested them physically and mentally, but what pushed them through every mile was the powerful purpose behind their run – raising vital funds for Merle’s Wish.
We are thrilled to announce that they raised over £3,500, an incredible achievement that will go directly toward supporting children with life-limiting illnesses and their families. This money will help create moments of comfort, joy, and much-needed support for those who need it most.
The pictures from race day are amazing, but they barely capture the dedication, heart, and hard work these two put in. Lee and Steve – thank you for going the distance for Merle’s Wish. You’ve truly made a difference.
